We held a special day of activities at school on Friday 3rd March. The children were invited to come to school wearing a costume that reflected a character from a book or story that they particularly enjoy. The children worked in their ‘family groups’ (mixed ages/classes) on a range of literary activities throughout the day. The day culminated with our weekly Celebration Assembly when parents found out about what the children had been getting up to and viewed the wonderful array of costumes that children were dressed up in.
