Our Year 5 pupils visited the Youlbury Scout site this week where they enjoyed a 3-day residential with Mrs Sucksmith, Mrs Carter and Miss Terrell. During their time away they all participated in numerous outdoor and adventurous activities, including the climbing wall, Jacob’s Ladder, the 3G swing and the Leap of Faith. They also tried their hand at archery and enjoyed games of aeroball, laser tag and some good old-fashioned songs around a campfire. The children all impressed their teachers and the Youlbury staff with their teamwork, resilience and excellent behaviour. It was a pleasure to see each child challenging themselves and we were all proud of just how much they grew in confidence throughout their stay.
